Corner Bakery: Banana Muffin

I'll go ahead and confess that I adore banana-related food items in the morning (banana pancakes, waffles, oatmeal...).  AND I adore carbohydrates in the morning.  So, a banana muffin?  Sign me up.  But don't just sign me up for ANY banana muffin, sign me up for a Corner Bakery banana muffin.

I know, I know.  You expected me to cite some mom and pop bakery for this, but shit - if I'm going to be honest with you here: the BEST banana muffin I've ever had comes from Corner Bakery.  I know - it's a chain - I don't like it any more than you do - but true is true.  (And if it helps, my ex-pastry-chef/ex-coworker is the one who turned me onto Corner Bakery muffins in the first place - so at least I have some chef cred with this one).

Best idea ever?  They have decent coffee, and if you waltz in there and order a "Morning Rush" like I do, you get a coffee and muffin for under $4.00.
